Classic Car Auctions is an auction house in the classic sense, and that model does not suit everyone. The car moves to their site and stays there until after the auction, uninsured by the auction house; you pay a commission on the sale price plus a €150 entry fee if the car does not sell; the buyer usually pays 12.5% auction fees excluding VAT, and payout usually follows within three weeks of handover. If you would rather keep the car at home, move faster or have the buyer carry lower fees, there are alternatives. Below they sit side by side, with the published rates per platform.

First decide what you want to outsource. Does the car have to leave the house, or would you rather keep it with you until the handover? How quickly do you want to get from submission to payout? And what may the transaction cost on both sides, since both a seller commission and high buyer fees ultimately come out of your proceeds?
Submit your car and our team will review it within 48 hours
