This German 2024 Ferrari 296 GTB Assetto Fiorano is finished in Grigio Scuro with a Giallo Modena racing stripe and a Nero interior with Giallo details. What makes this example particularly interesting is its specification: it is not only a 296 GTB with Assetto Fiorano specification, but also features the Extended Fiorano Package and the Giallo Modena Racing Stripe.
The Assetto Fiorano version is the more focused, performance-oriented variant of the 296 GTB. Ferrari developed this specification around weight saving, aerodynamics and a more direct driving experience. This includes features such as a Lexan rear window, additional carbon components and a sharper, more track-focused setup.
The livery also plays an important role. The Giallo Modena racing stripe is not a simple wrap, but a costly factory option closely tied to the Assetto Fiorano identity. Its design is inspired by the Ferrari 250 LM, one of Ferrari’s historic endurance racers from the 1960s. As a result, the stripe does not only give the car more visual character, but also creates a clear link to Ferrari’s racing history.
That combination works especially well on this example. Grigio Scuro keeps the car relatively understated, while the Giallo Modena stripe, yellow brake calipers and yellow interior details make it clear that this is no ordinary 296 GTB. The result is a specification that feels sporty and distinctive, without becoming excessive.
The 296 GTB itself has also been exceptionally well received since its introduction. In particular, the combination of a modern plug-in hybrid powertrain, compact mid-engined layout and very direct driving experience is often seen as what makes the car so special. The 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 and electric motor produce a combined 830 hp, with the car accelerating from 0-100 km/h in a claimed 2.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 331 km/h.
Note: The car was originally delivered in Germany and is currently located in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, but remains on German registration plates and is not Dutch registered. Any registration, BPM, import formalities or local taxes are the buyer’s responsibility.
